Experience the stories of aviation and space flight – from the Wright Flyer to the one-of-a-kind Flying Pancake; the Apollo VII spacecraft, 13 historical galleries, over 35,000 artifacts, the Living History program and our acclaimed STEM education program.

The Frontiers of Flight Museum is an aerospace museum located in Dallas, Texas, founded in November 1988 by William E. Cooper, Kay Bailey Hutchison, and Jan Collmer. It’s perfect place to explore the history and progress of aviation as mankind continues to pursue going higher, faster and farther.

The Museum’s expansive aviation and space flight collection includes:

  • Over 30 aircraft and space vehicles, several of which were built in the North Texas area
  • 13 Galleries and Exhibits, from the Early Flyers to Space Flight and growing
  • Over 35,000 historical artifacts

The Museum offers a unique learning environment for all ages. Visit the Frontiers of Flight Museum and explore the history of aviation and space flight in a way you never have before! The Museum offers both guided and self-guided tours. Groups of 10 or more may take advantage of group pricing.
